Welcome to Mission Southside, the community outreach program of Quivira Heights Church of Christ. We are a group of individuals dedicated to serving the community of Olathe, Kansas, and spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to provide assistance, support, and hope to those in need, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through various programs and initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in our community.

Food Pantry and Clothing Closet

Our food pantry and clothing closet serve as a vital resource for families and individuals experiencing food insecurity and/or lack of appropriate clothing. We partner with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to gather donations and ensure that those in need have access to fresh and nutritious food, as well as clothing appropriate for each season. Our volunteers work diligently to sort and organize items, creating a welcoming and dignified environment for those who come to receive assistance.

Education and Mentoring Programs

We believe in the transformative power of education and mentorship. Through our educational programs, we provide tutoring, homework assistance, and educational resources to children and teenagers, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed academically. Our mentoring programs offer guidance and support to young individuals, helping them navigate life's challenges and build a strong foundation for their future.
