Advent is a special time of year for the Christian community. It is a season filled with joyful anticipation as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Savior. At Quivira Heights Church of Christ, we invite you to join us in embracing the wonder and joy of Advent.

The Meaning of Advent

Advent, which means "coming" in Latin, symbolizes the coming of Christ into the world. It is a time to reflect upon the fulfillment of prophecies and the hope of His second coming. During this season, we focus on four key themes: hope, peace, joy, and love.
